Bus-related research

Public-transit timetable data generation

To support the basic data infrastructure of regional public transport, the laboratory develops AI-enabled edge devices and tools that assist in creating operational data (for example, GTFS route and timetable data). We work with local community bus operators to support sustainable operation.

KERNEL simulator on a tablet

Educational software for computer architecture

We are replacing the KERNEL board used in the department's hardware courses (Computer Organization I and II) with a new teaching environment that simulates a model computer, including interrupt handling and integrated assignment submission.

Robot vision research

Autonomous mobile robots

We propose perception models that a robot needs in order to drive, and apply machine learning based on those models. Applying the results to autonomous mobile robots enables high-precision driving.
